Antique slot machines are also called one-armed bandits, because they are typically operated by one handle or arm on the side of the machine, and because the players mostly loose all of their money and thus get ‘robbed’. Jennings, Mills, Pace and Watling are the most well known constructors of mechanical slot machines. They produced table models, somtimes placed in a console but also upright or floor machines.
